Botanicals

Below are some examples of flower paintings. These were all completed using watercolours on watercolour paper.
“I appreciate the intricacies and delicate nature of painting flowers. I also love the range of colours to be found within each perfectly formed creation, from the stem to the petals.”

Landscapes

Here are some examples of landscape paintings. Materials used include Oil Paint, Acrylic and Watercolour paints on either stretched canvas or paper.
“I enjoy the freedom of painting landscapes; the variety of styles and mediums you can use. The fact that they can be a background or the whole scene itself.”

People

The example below shows the process of a pencil drawing of the little girl in the picture.
“Drawing or painting people and portraits are skills I am developing currently, as it is not something I would say comes naturally to me. I believe as an artist, it is important to challenge yourself and have a go at things you find difficult. It is the only way to conquer your fear and improve.”
